• Yes, the 2nd generation Alexa remote paired easily with my new echo studio, 2/14/21, and works flawlessly.

• Hey there. As of right now there isn't a remote that will control the Echo Studio unless it was connected to your Fire TV, however, with Alexa being built in to this device, you can simply ask Alexa to turn the volume up or down and ask her to skip songs. Hope this helps!
