• Yes. The screen brightness level can be adjusted in the settings.

• Yes it does when you are in reading mode it is under settings

• yes and there's even a blue light blocker so you can read and still be able to get to sleep afterwards.

• The screen is lit. It's like any other tablet or even computer screen. you can definitely read in the dark on this.

• it does not have a glowlight for reading at night.
