Yes it has a ad on lock screen. Does not bother me at all in fact barely notice it once I unlock the screen, I would not pay to get rid of it since its only in screensaver mode but that's me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't realize you had to pay to remove it, I rooted the tablet within 30 mins of having it and it removed the ad lockscreen very easily. Plus it also ads Google Play to the tablet. It's a great little tablet, just have to shake my head at some decisions Amazon makes.

I don't know if you can have it removed, but I just got used to ignoring it. I did find a way to "hide" a lot of the sales apps on the home screen by moving them into a subfolder though.
