• A:Answer Hello Joy, Yes, you can download and read books on this device. It is not like a Kindle E-reader where you can read in the sun (this is a tablet screen, so similar to a phone screen, and a HD Screen) so it is shiny, but in regular indoor light it is a nice screen and 8", so a good size for reading. • A:Answer Hello, If you mean using the actual Face Time app to get someone on an apple device, no. Apple does not allow that. This is an android device. But it does have a camera, so you could use other apps like the Alexa app or Skype to do this. Hope this helps.
