• Yes, the kindle fire for kids is a good gift for a 10 year old boy. Wifi is only available when near an access location, not all over, as with an iPhone. Still games, movies and books that have finished downloading can be accessed even if wifi is not active. Make sure to purchase a protective case. No matter how careful or responsible the child; accidents happen and a protective case makes the kindlefire for lids easier to carry and more comfortable to hold.

• My 5 year old is having memory issues with it. Has to delete some games to download others but he has used my iPad mini which has 128G. Wifi is included
