A:AnswerNot sure I fully understand your question, but I have my cube attached to my LG TV and it works fine. I have loaded apps on it (ie Disney+) so I don't even have to log into my Amazon account)
A:AnswerHello Alva,
There are tons of video tutorials online if you would prefer a video of how to. Otherwise, you would plug the HDMI cord from the back of the Cube into the back of your TV. Then plug into power. After you turn on the device and turn to the HDMI port you plugged into, the device itself would walk you thorugh the set up process, including connecting to your Wifi. Hope that info helps.
A:AnswerHello Victor,
To use the fire stick, it plugs right into a HDMI port in the back of your TV, and connects to wifi. If your TV has and HDMI input, this will work.
A:AnswerHello,
You would still need their remote to access the channel guide, but this device could power the device on and off, and change to specific channels so long as the remote that controls that box uses IR Technology. Hope that helps.
A:AnswerHello,
I am not sure if those are apps, or you mean the channels that are normally available on regular cable TV. Live TV is available through a variety of Apps such as Hulu and Sling TV. I would search their plan prices as well as their channel line up to see what apps may have those channels you are looking for.
A:AnswerHello,
The processor was changed between the generations, as well as ability to be Dolby compatible for Dolby vision and atmos. Hope that helps make your decision.
A:AnswerYes. But that has nothing to do with the Cube. An external antenna connected to the TV will provide live TV. You'll need a Tablo or Recast if you want easy access and/or DVR control of live TV.
A:AnswerThe Cube is a "better" Fire TV Stick 4K. And It sort of replaces an Echo Dot but it will only play music if the TV is on. It also allows for ethernet connection to the network which could be helpful if you have spotty wifi.
A:AnswerHello,
The cube is not for recording. It is the same as the Fire TV Stick, except it has a Echo Dot built in for hands free control, as well as an IR reader to hands free turn on devices such as your TV and cable box. If the Dish app is available now on the Fire TV Stick you have, you would have the same functionality with the Cube.
A:AnswerHello Pat, this device would work independently from your TV, so yes you would be able to watch your Amazon Prime video without updating.
HAve a great day
