A:AnswerIt appears to have the same features as the fire stick with the addition of the gaming capability. However, the instructions that came with the Gaming Edition were those that one would use to set up the Fire Stick and so it was confusing to set it up properly. You need to realize that you have to use the A button as a select key which is different than the fire stick.
A:AnswerIf you want them to play games together at the same time then yes 2 controllers are required. You can also use an xbox 360 wired controller that you can plug into the usb port on the fire TV. this will not work for the Fire Stick.
