Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Late to answer this, but I want to make sure others who come along get a good answer. Yes, this absolutely WILL work on internet that slow. I have no better choice where I live, and have loved the Fire TV system. Know your limits - watch YouTube in 720p or 480p depending how badly the connection is performing and get used to grainy moments in your Netflix/Prime shows. The auto adjusted quality of most services is very good at avoiding constant buffering, but in exchange you get moments of dreadful quality when your speed dips too low. Just don't plan to watch live streams (Pluto TV is mostly buffering with tiny patches of functionality, for example, and Twitch requires 480p). If you're used to your horrible speeds and the repercussions thereof and just want something to view online-only content, you likely will be happy. If you are looking to cut cords on internet that slow, don't bother, you'll hate the experience.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I suggest you have good internet so your movies do not freeze
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No streaming will be effective at that slow speed, regardless of the device
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my experience you need at least 10 Mbps for this to work effectively. We have a 25Mbps service but sometimes in the evenings it can go down in the low ranges and our streaming drops out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
