Nothing, you own it. What you pay for monthly is the apps that you set up on it through Amazon (i.e. HBO, Hulu, Sling, Netflix, etc., etc.) You set up and pay for just the ones you're going to use. Cancel whenever you want through the Amazon website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Fire Stick is a one-time "purchase" expense. There are no recurring charges for the Fire Stick itself. My wife and I waited for the sales, and was able to buy one of our Fire Sticks on Black Friday weekend for $29.99 (4k UHD model) and the other for $39.99 a few weeks later - regular price is $49.99. Depending on the content you are streaming, you may have to pay a monthly fee, i.e. Hulu, Sling, DirecTv Now, Philo, etc for that. We use Hulu w/Live TV ($44.99), Philo ($16.00), and Netflix ($12.00).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Firestick is free. You need WiFi that’s it. You can download many apps like YouTube & have internet on TV. I subscribed to Sling to get channels I wanted. It lowered my bill from cable. I won’t go back. It’s simple but works great! The picture is great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No monthly fee. Once you buy it, it’s yours.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no monthly charge for the Fire Stick after you purchase it. The monthly charge would be for the service you subscribe to, if you choose to subscribe to a service. We subscribed to Hulu Live. With Hulu Live you get the local channels without an antenna. Also, you get tons of sports channels, shows, and movies. A Fire Stick is required for each tv, however, 1 subscription to Hulu Live covers all three of our TVs.
