I’ve owned both models and find both to be easy on the eyes as both are adjustable regarding font size and brightness. However the Oasis now offers more adjustment possibilities than the Paperwhite as it offers both warm and cool light options. (The Paperwhite offers only cool light settings.). I’ve had numerous eye surgeries and bright lights irritate my eyes. The Kindles do not so I can once again enjoy a good read before bedtime!

They both have the capability of making the font smaller or larger, and have the ability to be read in the light or the dark. The only thing for screen difference with the Oasis is it is a bit bigger, and it has an "amber" screen option for when reading in the dark, as well as the regular white colored light. Hope this info helps you make a decision. Have a great day.
