• Hello Rt52, here are a few of the differences. The Oasis has 25 LEDs vs the Paperwhite having only 5, for better lighting and more adjustments to the brightness and warmth of the light. It also has a sensor to adjust the light automatically depending on the environment. The Oasis will also auto rotate the screen depending on which orientation you are holding it in. Finally, there are physical buttons on the device for page turning. Hope that helps you out.

• Hi! I have both but I prefer the oasis because the Paperwhite is a bit too small for me snd you have to swipe the pages to turn them. The Oasis has buttons to turn the pages forward and back, You can also swipe if you prefer but I like the buttons. They turn immediately with no lag time.
