Do you need W Fi with this reader null

Hello Jeannie, you will need wifi to download your books that you want to read. Once they are downloaded onto the Kindle, you will no longer need to be connected to wifi. Anytime you want to download a new book or update the software you will need to connect to wifi. Hope that helps, have a great day!

If you want to be able to download media wirelessly, then yes. Otherwise you’re stuck plugging it in to your computer every time you want to add a book.
