“Can this kindle download books when not connected to wifi, does it have 3g capabilities”

• The new generation Paperwhite 5 (2021) does not have any 3G/4G capabilities and is Wifi only. I believe Amazon had moved away from that due to issues with older gen Kindles that had 3G capabilities and lost support for it once 4G/5G became the norm.
