Hello! The main difference between the two are that the 2021 Kindle Paperwhite has a larger screen, 6.8" and the 2018 has a smaller 6' screen along with higher built in storage and 4G built in. This allows you to download books anywhere you are vs being able to download books via WIFI. The 2021 also has a much better battery life of up to 10 weeks vs the 2018 version (10th Gen) having up to 6 weeks. The 2021 version is also 20% faster than the 2018 version.
