  • QuestionWhat are the exact outer dimensions of the Kindle Paperwhite 2023 compared to the 2022 Kindle? I understand the screen size in the Paperwhite is 6.8” compared to a 6” screen in the other so I’m wondering how their full outer sizes compare. Thank you!

    • Answer Hi Tigerpuff! The short version is the Paperwhite is around 0.6" taller and wider than the Kindle. The Paperwhite is 6.9 inches (180 mm) H x 4.9 inches (120 mm) W x 0.32 inches (8.1 mm) D. The Kindle is 6.21 inches (158 mm) H x 4.28 inches (109 mm) W x 0.315 inches (8.0 mm) D. So the difference is 0.69 inches taller, 0.62 inches wider, 0.005 inches deeper. The Paperwhite is a little heavier (7.23 oz vs 5.56 oz) as well. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!

The cable is USB-A to USB-C, and will work with any standard USB-A power adapter to charge your Paperwhite. You can also use the cable to connect directly to a PC if you need to manually move files.     • Answer Hi perk! This is the 11th generation Kindle Paperwhite, and will work just fine with any case designed for that generation. While Amazon offers it's own case, there are also a ton of 3rd party cases available online. Just make sure they work with the 11th gen, or 2021 release, of the Paperwhite. While this is the Signature edition and has some additional features like wireless charging, the dimensions are the same as the non-Signature Paperwhite.
