“When I see burnt plugs in reviews, I usually think the person doesn't know how much load is on his breaker. This is not the case here. I used a max 700 watt heater (aka a 500 watt heater) on a dedicated 20 amp breaker. One plug to one breaker.”

I have been using a 1500 Watt heater and it is fine. I even connect this to a surge protector (Make sure it is rated 1875 Watt surge protector) and make sure there's no other strong devices using the same surge protector / amazon plug.
