This a starter to mid cpu . If you’re looking to upgrade your gpu , then I would recommend you update your cpu and motherboard too. Just remember that everything you update a component on your rig, you also have to upgrade a few other things so that your gpu is not being held back from performance and also vise versa for your cpu
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Wouldnt reccomend upgrading this since its an am4 board and not much upgrade path if your budget is more that 750 i wouldnt reccomend going with an am5 board and cpu
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For mid-low range gpus absolutely and maybe even a slightly high end gpus with a slight bottle neck. However don’t let that discourage you from getting a better gpu, you’ll lose out on those extra frames in some cases it can be 2-5 fps or even 10 fps either way depending on the games but if you just don’t have the money then this is a overall great cpu for those on a budget gpu or don’t mind those small amount of frame losses.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This CPU only supports PCIE 3.0, and not 4.0. So newer GPUs will have reduced performance. So overall, no, not really.
