• Not during use. While it does support PD, it only supports an 18W output. If your laptop is closed or off, it will give it some extra juice. But don't plan on gaining battery percentage while your laptop is in use.

• Yes, I plugged it in just to see and it charged my 15” MacBook Pro using a usb c to usb c wire.
