    • Answer Yes. According to Anker customer service the BP1000X will work with the C1000. Customer service explained to me that the only difference between the X and non X is its colorway. The BP1000X is darker gray like the C1000X power station unit, and the BP1000 (not sold at Bestbuy only on Ankers website) is light gray like the C1000 power station unit. So if you don’t mind having the BP1000X not match the lighter color of your C1000 than you are good to go because they are compatible. Not sure why the Anker team here on Bestbuy answered it wrong and said that it is not. Again, it is, as per Anker’s own customer service.

    • Answer No. This is only an expansion battery for the C1000 or C1000X. It cannot power anything on its own. A C1000 may not be able to power the air conditioner either. Your AC consumes just under 1400 watts, but there is no indication as to whether or not this is a peak power draw (such as, when the AC is first turned on and there is an inrush of current), or continuously after turn on (in which there might be a higher output peak that exceeds the rating of the C1000). The best way to find out is to use a Kill-A-Watt energy meter on your AC to see how much power it uses, both at startup and while running. Even so, if the wattage is continuous, the 1056 Wh rating would only run the AC for about 45 minutes on the C1000 alone, or 90 minutes by adding the BP1000 expansion battery. At that price you could get a gas generator for less money.

    • Answer It cannot be recharged on its own with the Honda generator, but if it is connected to its parent power station, it can be recharged just like the parent power station can. I have three Ankeer Solix power stations, and all of them get recharged from a generator without issue when I am off grid

If you purchase our C1000X power station along with the solar panel, we include a 0.5-meter MC4 to XT60 adapter cable and a 3-meter solar extension cable, giving you a total length of 3.5 meters for solar charging. A soft reminder that there is no solar charging cable that comes with a separate expansion battery.
