• No it stays on. you have to go over and touch the power button

• I was curious of this myself so I called Anker directly..... If it is not getting a bluetooth connected device signal, it will cut itself off automatically after 10 minutes... Sometimes I get in a hurry and grab my phone and run and forget to manually turn off the speaker....

• Yes, it automatically turns off itself. Need to manually reconnect when you get back in range.
