• A:Answer I can elaborate on the whole 3D printing steps as I am just from a beginner to knowing how to 3D print successfully Step 1. Get the model file We can google and download STL/OBJ files directly. Or, you can use professional design tools like zbrush, C4D, Blende and Autodesk Fusion 360 to design by yourself, which needs more skills and I have not put much effort into this part myself. Step 2. Send the model file to a slicer software As mentioned in FAQ on Kickstarter: AnkerMake M5 works best with AnkerMake Slicer, software developed by AnkerMake to best work with M5. The software is optimized to achieve high-speed printing. In addition, only AnkerMake Slicer supports Al recognition. If you prefer, M5 supports Cura and Simply3D andPrusaSlicer. AnkerMake Slicer will release when we ship the printers to our backers. There are 4 ways to send a model file to the printer: - Copy the file to M5 with a USB-C flash drive - Use AnkerMake Slicer to send via Wi-Fi - Send via USB-C with AnkerMake Slicer - Use the AnkerMake app to send wirelessly Step 3 Start printing

• A:Answer Check out ShortCircuit's video on YouTube. There are just a handful of screw to mount the Y-Axis. Other than that, you should be up and running in under an hour. (I think they say in under 30 minutes.)

Q: QuestionSo, ive had an ankermake M5C for just about 2 weeks now, and i have a quick few questions. first, does yalls printer work with PETG? because i tried it and i broke my 0.4 mm nozzle trying to fix it. for context, i used some and it clogged.

Remember, there is one less person trying to make money of this sale and then can market directly to you right away. the benefit of BestBuy is you get their customer service with issues on top of help from AnkerMake. Plus, you can then deal with a physical location locally (hopefully) than having to ship or mail (often at your expense) to get things done.

Q: QuestionCan you print with multiple colors or is it a single color printer?

• A:Answer Single color. You may be able to switch during but it would be time consuming. The multi-color switching unit never came through and was cancelled. For automatic color switching, check out Bambu Labs. They have 3 printers available with that option. Just know it can waste a lot of filament if you don't mess with the settings.

Q: QuestionHow do I scan a section of a larger item? I.e. broke a corner of a picture frame so want to replicate one corner that is OK to replace the broken section.

• A:Answer Find the picture frame online, and convert the photo into SKL, take the SKL to the Anker software and just cut the section you need, It has that option on the program. Before you print get a caliper and measure the width length and thickness so you can adjust the cut section on the program before you print. Do a hollow light print (faster print time and less filament usage) to kinda see if you hit the mark.

To what I researched as long as you have some kind of air purifier near the printer and printing only PLA it’s safe, if you have a printer rated for PVC prints or any harsher plastic I wouldn’t do that in a room your in that’s just what I have read and watched from other people.
