Please call our tech support team @ 877-825-5572. Every case is different. Using your street address we can perform a signal analysis to determine which antenna would be right for your installation. Thanks!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Antennas are primarily line of sight and terrain such as mountains and hills can obstruct signals. I would recommend going to TV fool and entering your address. They will generate a report based on your location and the location of your TV stations that will show you a better idea of what channels you can pick up with an indoor antenna versus an outdoor antenna. When they say up to 50 miles that is a best case scenario for that antenna.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Heavy foliage, forestry and large hills to play a factor when trying to receive broadcast signals. We have had a lot of success with Antenna Direct antennas and how well they receive signals. If you are not sure about the range or distance from the towers or how you could receive these signals, please their customer service line and someone will be available to help you with placement and aiming your antenna.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know about in forestry areas, and to some extent if a hill blocks the signal it will block the signal regardless of what antenna you use, but if there is a signal there, this thing seems to pick it up well. In my neighborhood, using a traditional indoor antenna will get you 2 or 3 channels, most people who use antenna use roof mounted antennas, and this thing gets just about as good signal (roughly 15 channels with good quality compared to 2 or 3) as what my neighbors are getting with roof mounted antennas.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The mile range won't guarantee good reception. It can state 100 miles and that wont make a difference. Call the manufacturer first and ask for their recommendations. YET, Try it fiest and make sure it works for you and return it to Best Buy before 15 days or you'll get stuck with it. An outdoor antenna seems a better solution. I've tried 8 different indoor antennas. This was twice as expensive as any other I've tried before and it works exactly the same as the rabbit ears and RCAs cheap flat HDTV antennas I have stored in my closet!
