A:AnswerBy regular tv you mean an analog tv I am not sure. I had replaced all my TVs with HD sets. I would guess it would work with an analog tv if you had a HD to analog converter box.

Its hard to say becuase the interferance inside will be different for everyone. This unit is very strong. You should only see a 25% at most dip in perfromance inside vs outside.
A:AnswerThe antenna should not require any amplification for normal connection to 1-3 TVs being so close. An indoor amplifier may be useful if feeding say 5 to 6 TVs or if you do split the signal if any of those cable runs are longer than 50 ft it may be to your advantage to put an indoor amplifier at the TV with the long cable run. Always best to not use any amplification if you do not need it.
