The antenna should not require any amplification for normal connection to 1-3 TVs being so close. An indoor amplifier may be useful if feeding say 5 to 6 TVs or if you do split the signal if any of those cable runs are longer than 50 ft it may be to your advantage to put an indoor amplifier at the TV with the long cable run. Always best to not use any amplification if you do not need it.
