• Any monitor can play video games. if you are a hardcore gamer then you will need a monitor with a higher refresh rate other than that i think this monitor will work great.

• Yes, this monitor is very good as a gaming monitor. All my games look crisp and clean. Just make sure to change the resolution in all your games to 1920x1080p.
