Does it have built in speakers? null

It does have supposedly (2) 5 watt speakers per the specs, but at 100% volume they are barely audible. They suck to be honest. I am VERY disappointed with them and probably will never use them because of such low volume and no way to adjust bass or treble, etc.. not that it would matter. They sound like laptop speakers. I would NOT recommend buying this monitor if you are not going to connect exterior speakers to it.
