“Will this back-up be adequate for a Dell Inspiron 3668 computer (70SH8HLV)and a HP 23es monitor? I this unit is ok then how long will a fully charged back-up carry this load? Is there software included that will auto shut down both devices? Thank you,”

Yes, it a do that, but just for10 to 15 minutes.

It is only rated for 255 watts and I estimate your system draws approximately 383 watts. If you do not need a great deal of runtime, then one option is the BE850M2. It will support a 380 watt load for 7-8 minutes and will also come bundled with our Powerchute Personal Edition software.
