According to the manufacturer, the battery is not user replaceable. I haven't opened it up and probably won't. I only paid $40 on sale, not that much more than just a battery might cost. If I have to replace the whole thing when the battery dies, I'm okay with that as long as it isn't in the first 2-3 years.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Doubtful. I'm assuming a PS-1270 is 12 Volts, 7 AH. This unit uses a 12V, 4.5AH battery, which is quite a bit smaller. And replaceable, by the way, unlike the negative comments. Look up 12V, 4.5AH batteries. They are all similarly sized, and cheap. While you're at it, search YouTube for the video of the guy who shows you how to replace it. Four screws.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for inquiry. Unfortunately the BN450M does not have an user replaceable battery. The Ps-1270 F1 does not sound like it is one our batteries as well so it would not work in on our UPSs. The part number for our batteries would begin something like RBC or APCRBC.
