At half load, or 432 watts, you would have approximately 13 minutes of runtime. At full load, or 865 watts, you would have approximately 4 minutes.

Instead of your computer suddenly shutting down, perhaps while writing a file to the hard drive (which would cause drive errors), the APC unit gives you a few MINUTES of power to PROPERLY shut down your computer, by closing files and programs, and doing a proper SHUT DOWN. That is the ONLY purpose for this APC unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had an unexpected power outage just this morning. My XS 1300 ran my laptop, 27" LED monitor and cable modem for 45 minutes. I work from home, so power off means lost work-time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit will run a normal computer, LCD or LED monitor, your router and/or modem for a few MINUTES, but it is not a generator. It is only to be used to give you enough reserve power to properly SHUT DOWN your computer in the event of a power outage.
