“How long can I run two 6 watt water pumps on an aquariums during loss of power? Also, does this unit turn on any particular outlets after loos of power? In other words I want to run a pump only when I lose my street power.”

Thank you for your inquiry. At 12 watts, the unit would give you around 315 minutes of runtime. The UPS has surge and battery outlets. So you can connect your pump to the battery outlets while your fish lamps to the surge only. This way only the filters would continue to run during a power outage while the lights would turn out.

Please try again later.I believe it will run your pump for a long time if it's only 6 watts, I use it for my gaming set up and after a power outage it will run my 27" LED gaming monitor, my Xbox one S and my modem and router for over one and a half hour and I'm sure that's more than 6 watts. Also on the back of the unit it tells you how many plug in outlets are designated to the power back up and how many are just for surge protection.
