I have always monitored using a connected computer/server but I believe remote monitoring is possible if you add a network card to the unit: http://www.apc.com/shop/us/en/products/UPS-Network-Management-Card-2/P-AP9630
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for inquiry. Unfortunately the SMT1500 doesn't have the option to see how much runtime remaining is on the UPS. The only way to have the option is install a network card in the smart slot of the UPS. The part number for the network card is AP9630 or AP9631. The AP9630 is the basic monitoring card while the AP9631 would allow you to monitor the ambient temperature.
