No. Word is part of Microsoft Office. You can download Pages, Apple's word processing app. It is still free I think.

I believe MS Office is available on the app store for 0$. That includes word. I suggest you try using the built in ios app Notes.

It comes with pages the app for letter for apple. You can download the word app but need to have word on your computer or pay the yearly subscription through Microsoft

No it doesn't. Microsoft requires for you to either purchase or lease their suite of office programs. This is their website. https://products.office.com/en-us/home

yes, you can download the mac apps comparable to microsoft for free: pages, numbers, etc
