Why is there no earphone plug????? That’s insane! null

Unfortunately there isn't. However, you can use USB-C to 3.5mm converter and use your wired earphones

Seems to be that everything is wireless these days!

There is an adapter you can use to convert from usb c to lightning but would recommend using Bluetooth headphones.
