- Answer It has the latest Bluetooth version, but does not have fingerprint scanning. It has a facial recognition system called FaceID, which works in any orientation, and is 20x more secure than fingerprint (TouchID).

- Answer WiFi means you can connect to the internet , if service is available . Unlocked is a reference regarding phone service carriers . Of which if the iPad you purchase does not include cellular does not apply .

- Answer To use an external hardrive you would need an adapting cable from USB type C to USB. That would plug into the charging port. The same concept as if you wanted to use wired earbuds.

- Answer No, iPads must initially be purchased with cellular abilities. The WiFi only models do not have the necessary antennas.

- Answer Yes it does. I took my Apple Pencil 2nd Generation out of the box and it attached magnetically to the top of the iPad and instantly connected and started charging. A short tutorial comes on the iPad screen when the Pencil is connected for the first time.
