• A:Answer Yes there is a door on the back side to access the ram compartment in a 27” imac. There are 4 total ram slots for ram upgrades. It is a very easy DIY upgrade and you can save a lot of money. Just make sure to buy the right type of ram including ram speed and have all ram speed match.
