Q: QuestionWill BB (Geek Squad) transfer the existing files from my old iMac to the newly purchased IMac 27"? And will they wipe clean the old hard drive and process my old IMac for recycle? It does not qualify for a trade-in. Thx/Dale

Another option it’s to go to the Apple web site, it cost the same, when you have 12 months to pay it instead of of 18 months with BB. With Apple you can also custom order like get it with an I9 and more memory.

• A:Answer No, the internal SSD is soldered to the logic board. You could put your SATA drive in an external enclosure and connect via the USB port.
