find my device is useless for individual pods, lost one on Halloween taking my nieces out it showed last location, couldn't find it wouldn't beep wouldn't update nothing. find my works in your house or the charging case itself. you can purchase the individual pod from apple themselves for 89$ or just buy a new set for 100 more. im buying a set and putting them into my personalized case from apple. buy in person in store because bestbuy like amazon sells open returned trash that people swap out and you get left holding the bag, make sure the security stickers are intact before you purchase\

Same happened to me and I had to just buy a new set. Although. I am so happy I did because the new generation AirPods are WAY better. AND, if you’re like me and lose things— they actually have a find my AirPods feature that will ding them like the iPhone has FINALLY!!! They’re awesome, if you buy them you won’t regret it.
