Unlikely since there is no bluetooth ability with ipods that I am aware
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I cannot personally confirm that the AirPods will work with an iPod; it seems to be software linked more so than the traditional Bluetooth process. That said, as long as your iPod has Bluetooth capabilities and is supported by Apple’s software for AirPods compatibility it should work. Again, I can’t confirm personally for iPods but my iPhone XS Max linked with the AirPods as soon as I opened the case lid. When in doubt, search the Apple forums. You might find a more sure answer there.
