Bring a portable charger and a charging cable. Portable charges sizes range in all kinds and you could get one the size of a wall plug. Charge your case on the go. Or.... you can just buy extra air pod cases and keep those charged.

I have been told by the 'genius' at Apple, that if you purchase a compatible wireless charger that is a high capacity charger, you can expect as quick of a charge as if you used the conventional plug-in method, but since most people don't have the high capacity wireless chargers, your best bet if you need them charged quickly, is to defer to the plug-in version. Also, beware of quick charge cables. If the wattage is too high they can damage the batteries in the Airpods or even in your iPhone.
