Of course it can be returned within the rerun window. They're just earphones.

I figure the Best Buy site / return policy could answer this better. Or you could get Apple care or BB's own Geek Squad extended plan. Just keep the packaging in as good of shape as possible while you break them in and keep an eye on the calendar. I've had mine over a month and they're doing great. Beats Pro is a good alternative to AirPods. Uses the same iPhone magic Bluetooth easy connection and has ear hooks in addition to the ear tips. Bass lovers seem to like them better than AirPods Pro too.
