I don’t have the problem with my AirPods. I also don’t remember having that issue with my AirPod 2.

From my use, haven't had that problem. Using them for the past 3 weeks (casual use at home, voice calls with friends, and running with them), I haven't had inconsistencies between the music from one pair to another.
