It would be different for everyone. I read some reviews in which they mentioned they had better fit due to multiple ear tips, rather than just one option. Also there is a ear test you can do in setting which tells you if it’s a good fit or not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine do seem to fit better. I had the first generation, but I never had a problem with pain while wearing those. And I have talked on the phone for as long as 7 hours straight before while using them (swapping out one at a time). The Pros do seem to fit better, and they have a soft rubber tip much like other competitors models do. They come with 3 different sizes of tips to give you choices to customize the fit to your ear. The tips aren't perfectly round as others are either. Kind of oval shaped. Apple, in my opinion, really do their research when they design and/or improve something. I have not had any pain whatsoever with these. Hadn't put them through the long conversation test as I have the others, but I have had them in and forgot they were in my ear. Absolutely love mine. Hope I answered your question.
