• You will have no issue with them while they are on transparency mode. you will fine to talk to someone. With noise canceling on you wouldn't even hear what the person next to you is saying...

• Yes even with noise canceling you can still hear people around you lightly or if u turn off noise canceling for ambient sound it sounds great and no pressure is on your ears.

• Yes, if you turn off the noise cancellation. Which is simple to do, either press the stem of the bud or on your iPhone.
