• no. they are no better than just not having anything in your ears. maybe in the future with a software update that would be a pretty cool feature. but I really dont see apple adding that in.

• YES THEY WILL AMPLIFY VOICES AND SOUNDS IN YOUR ENVIRONMENT. THERES ALSO A NEW APPLE FEATURE FOR ALL HEADPHONES THAT SOMEONE CAN SPEAK INTO YOUR PHONE AND IT WILL TRANSMIT TO THE HEADPHONES.

• Not sure but it does amplify the surrounding sound. I’m sure hearing aids are probably a better choice since the technology for hearing aids is suited for hearing disabilities.
