• You can (and should) use both. Put the newer one in the main part of the house and put the order one wherever you need additional coverage. Use the Airport Utility app for setup.

• I’m currently utalizing two of these for two separate buildings more than 2200 sq. Ft. I would recommend maybe pairing it with an AirPort Extreme to exten the network of you have trouble with dead spots.
