Yes! I recommend getting the keychains that hold the AirPod and attaching it so it doesn’t fall out or get lost. The are small so easy to lose.

Yes but they are intended to find lost items not track stolen goods or lost goods. For example if you lose your item and the battery is removed from the air tag you won’t be able to track it. Also if it’s out of range it won’t tell you where it is.
