Q: Questionis the verizon deal for this ipad no longer available? I can't get it to go to my cart!

• A:Answer I had same problem trying to purchase on the website 4 months ago. I finally went into the store, had to buy the ipad at full price, have it delivered to my house, then take the new ipad back into the store where they gave me the discount only when they confirmed and initiated my new 2-year contract cell service. I talked with the Best Buy guy that handled the Verizon signup. Be sure to allow at least a week for delivery and an additional hour to take the new ipad back to store to get the $200 credit and do all the paper work. Also, there is the activation setup fee of $30 or $40 added that isn't obvious in their advertisement.

Q: Questioni have an older version of the mini with wi-fi and cellular I want a new mini 4, can I just take sim card from old one, put in new one and be good to go I have a plan for this with wi-fi and cellular

Q: QuestionCan you get iPad mini with Verizon cellular and not use it. I just need WiFi and no cellular as price is cheaper than just WiFi iPad mini. Do they have in Red.

• A:Answer If you purchase the mini IPad with Verizon cellular and elect not to use the service, please remember you are still obligated to pay the one-time activation fee and ongoing monthly fee for the cellular service. As far as the color, not sure if it comes in red.

Q: QuestionI already have an older iPad via Veriit's broken. It just broke. Do I have to pay the extra for Verizon in a new mini or can u just buy it with wifi only version for less and then have Verizon switch the iPad that is registered?

Q: QuestionI have a silly question, What happens after that 2 year contract with Verizon expires? I assume the ipad will just work like a 'normal' device without the cellular piece?

• A:Answer Cell service continues as long as you pay your bill after the 2 years are up. Then after the initial 2-year contract, Verizon will probably send you notifications to encourage you to buy another ipad along with getting another 2-year contract, but you don't have to. You are allowed to continue without any contract for your cell service after that initial 2-year contracted period by continuing to pay your monthly bill.
