“Can I turn it off when I don’t need to use it or I don’t have control over that ?”

You do not have control over it as you would a mophie case. This case will use the cases battery before it uses the phones battery, there is no off or on switch.

You do not have control over it. However, the phone battery life is greatly extended!

Unfortunately not, but the battery life is really good. I start my day at 6am and it stops charging around 5pm and still have full battery
