• It doesn't say. the sprint version is cdma/gsm. but not all of them come unlocked so you can use the gsm. This is most likely locked to sprint. See sprints unlocking policy. It can be unlocked by sprint after a certain amount of time, then you can use its global gsm.

• You are correct that sprint is CDMA but no you can not unlock it to use on different networks your thinking of GSM witch would be able to unlock and those are t mobile att where CDMA is your sprint and verizon.
