Q: QuestionI would like to purchase this from Best Buy and use Verizon as the provider. I am currently a Verizon wireless customer. However, I do not want my phone to be "locked" so I always have the option to switch. Is this possible and how would I do this?

• A:Answer Yes, I bought one and have metro pcs. You have to let a sales associate know that you have metro pcs and they will unlock it for you. You then have to call metro pcs to give them the imei number and you can then move your SIM card over to the new phone.

• A:Answer I buy them every year as Christmas presents. You have as long as you want to activate, but if you buy them on a payment plan, you will still make payments even if you don’t activate. When you give as a gift, the person just calls the number, goes online, or goes back to store to activate. It’s actually pretty easy.
